The Fool Speakeasy fills a renovated three-storey building on Chana Charoen Road in Phuket Old Town. The concept comes from the tarot, where The Fool stands for the start of a journey and a leap into the unknown, and the rooms lean into it with candlelit corners and elegant decor.
Drinks draw on mythology, dream interpretation and legend, using locally sourced ingredients. The signature Fool mixes gin, vodka, sparkling wine and carrot punch, served in a black glass with a copper interior. There is also a non-alcoholic list, bar bites, pan-Asian small plates and desserts, and DJs rotate through the week.
Time Out named it among Phuket's best cocktail bars in 2025, and it was recognised at the Bangkok Bar Show Awards 2025. It opens from 5pm to midnight; bookings are taken through Nightify. It is the obvious first stop for a night out in the Old Town.
