DOXA Skybar – Fira Phuket

DOXA Skybar sits on the second floor of Fira Phuket on Khok Tanod Road in Karon, reached by a sleek skywalk and built so that it appears to float above the Andaman Sea. Sky Sofas face the water, and the whole set-up is geared to golden hour and sunset.

The cocktails are carefully made and balance bold and refreshing styles. Roots combines rye, sweet vermouth, apricot brandy, beetroot, lime, bitters and mezcal, while Ananas Spice mixes bourbon, tepache, coconut liqueur, lime and tonic. There are also bar bites and a list of spirits and wines.

DOXA opens from 4pm to midnight. Sky Sofas can be booked through SevenRooms, which is worth doing for sunset, and general reservations go through Fira's booking page. It is about 45 minutes by taxi from Phuket airport.
