Noir CMI sits behind a stark concrete-framed entrance on Charoen Prathet Road, near the Night Bazaar. Inside is a moody, low-lit lounge with bare cement walls and warm lighting. It is part of a small complex that also includes Noir Counter and Demon's Murmur, and it is the sister bar of Bar.San.
The signature menu is built on twists on classics, such as the Muskmelon Last Word and the Caterpillar Colada, alongside the Winter Strawberry Fizz, martinis and wine. Cocktails start from about B320.
Live jazz plays every night except Monday, and the bar opens from 7pm to 1am. The crowd mixes couples, groups of friends and solo drinkers, and it suits a date night or a late drink with music. Reservations can be made through Nightify.
