Dry Wave Cocktail Studio opened on the second floor of the Sodality building on Thonglor Soi 13 in January 2024. The design follows the ebb and flow of the ocean, with wave-patterned walls, sandstone and terracotta marble, a fluid marble-topped bar where you can watch the drinks being made, and an outdoor terrace built around a mature tree.
Founder Supawit 'Palm' Muttarattana, who worked at Backstage Cocktail Bar and Vesper, built the menu around 'Super Classics': hybrids of two well-known cocktails from different periods. The 1806-1988, for example, combines a bourbon old fashioned with the citrus notes of a cosmopolitan. The music programme is just as genre-bending.
Dry Wave was No. 5 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 with the Highest New Entry Award, and rose to No. 4 in 2026 as the Best Bar in Thailand. It is a good choice for classic-cocktail lovers who like a twist; expect it to be busy at weekends.
Bars tweak their hours and menus often, so it's worth a quick check before you head out.
