Punch Room is EDITION's signature bar concept, and the Singapore version sits inside The Singapore EDITION on Cuscaden Road. The intimate room is swathed in Yves Klein blue, with oak-panelled walls and ceiling, a sculptural blue pendant by Parisian artist Eric Schmitt and a stone fan-shaped floor mosaic, evoking a classic London gentleman's club.
As the name suggests, punch is at the centre of the menu: the team behind the bronze bar shakes up punch cocktails rooted in Southeast Asian spices, served with imaginative bar snacks. There is also a selection of rare spirits, each with a story the bartenders are keen to tell.
Punch Room opens Tuesday to Saturday from 8pm to 2am and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Book through SevenRooms. It is a natural late-evening stop after dinner in Orchard, and pairs well with the hotel's Wonder Room for those who want to stay out later.
