Cat Bite Club opened in June 2023 behind a curtain inside a cafe on Duxton Road. It calls itself a neighbourhood cocktail bar, and its niche is a playful collision of agave and rice-based spirits: the back bar holds more than 300 artisanal distillates from Mexico and across Asia.

Cocktails lean bold and mischievous, mixing mezcal and tequila with sake, shochu and other rice spirits, and there are tasting experiences for anyone who wants to work through the collection neat. The kitchen sends out dishes to go with the drinks, and happy hour runs from 5 to 8pm.

The bar entered Asia's 50 Best Bars at No. 77 in 2024, rose to No. 44 in 2025 and was No. 86 on the 2026 extended list. It opens Wednesday to Sunday, and tables can be booked via OpenTable. A strong choice for agave fans and for anyone curious about Asian spirits.

Bars tweak their hours and menus often, so it's worth a quick check before you head out.
