Night Hawk

Night Hawk takes its name and mood from Edward Hopper's painting Nighthawks. The 22-seat room on the bend between Tras Street and Tanjong Pagar Road mixes 1940s-to-1970s metropolitan styling with sunken booths at the back and an analogue flipboard that cycles through messages. The bar calls the look "futuristic nostalgia".

The bar was created by Peter Chua, who also co-owns Junior the Pocket Bar and Nemesis. The menu combines modern and classic techniques with extraction methods aimed at cutting waste, and the signature Night Hawks mixes coffee-infused rum, vodka and amaro. Menus are served by QR code from a mid-century-style matchbook.

Night Hawk entered Asia's 50 Best Bars at No. 16 in 2024 and was No. 77 on the 2025 extended list. It is walk-in only, so the team suggests calling ahead to check for space, especially at weekends. A good pick for couples and small groups.
