The Golden Tooth is a 45-seat bar in South Jakarta designed like a New York loft, with concrete, exposed beams and a sky window over a living-room style space. Its motto is 'cocktails and chats': private, casual and real, with music kept low enough for proper conversation.
Owner-bartender Kenny Soetomo, who cut his teeth in Australian bars and won the 2014 Australian National Suntory Cocktail Connoisseur title, is often behind the counter himself. House signatures include the Pineapple Paloma, Strawberry Gimlet, PX Sour and Robusta Negroni, and the back bar is stocked with obscure spirits and liqueurs for guests who want something tailored.
The Golden Tooth joined the Asia's 50 Best Bars extended list at No. 98 in 2025. It opens every day from 5pm to midnight, and bookings are handled via WhatsApp.
