The Mailroom

The Mailroom is a tiny speakeasy concealed behind a poke bowl bar in busy Berawa, Canggu. Guests pass through a transition room styled as a time-travelling journey back to the glamour of the Prohibition era, arriving in a plush space of velvet banquettes and backlit bottle displays.

Theatre is part of the draw. The current menu, Enigma, has 14 signature cocktails inspired by the traits of a mysterious persona, with playful presentation and unusual glassware, and the team uses house-blend infusions and advanced techniques. Highlights include the complex Curious George and the nutty Technicolour Dreams. There is also a range of rare spirits and top-shelf malt whiskies, plus bottled cocktails to take home.

On special occasions guests can try making their own cocktails. It suits groups and anyone who enjoys a bit of showmanship. Open daily from 7pm until late.
