DarkSide is the flagship bar of Rosewood Hong Kong at Victoria Dockside in Tsim Sha Tsui. As the name suggests, it is devoted to the darker things in life: aged spirits, vintage cigars and dark chocolate, in a plush, low-lit room.
The back bar holds an extensive library of rum, whisky, calvados and other dark spirits, some dating back to the 19th century, along with an exclusive cask of Grande Champagne cognac created by the bar team. Classic cocktails sit alongside inventive time-limited menus, and there is a bar snacks menu.
Live jazz plays every night from around 8pm. Dress is smart casual, and reservations can be made through SevenRooms. It suits whisky and rum lovers and anyone after a sophisticated nightcap on the Kowloon side.
